By air, Indians solve Forest Park By DAN CLENDANIEL Journal correspondent Ryan Smith of Gar-Field proved that one does not have to throw a lot of passes to direct an effective aerial attack. Smith, a senior quarterback, threw just 11 passes Friday night at Forest Park, but connected on seven of them for 123 yards and three touchdowns as the Indians beat the Cardinal District-rival Bruins for the second time this year, 28-6.

Hylton goes 9-0 By CHRIS BUBECK Journal staff writer Hylton football coach Bill Brown was only interested in the bottom line Friday night and that was his team improving to 9-0 on the season. The Bulldogs overcame three fumbles and two touchdown-negating penalties with a 15-6 win over Woodbridge. Hylton also struggled with the 2-7 Vikings in a 14-13 win earlier in the season, but Brown only cared about the final outcome Friday. ``I'm not disappointed at all, we played dominating defense," Brown said. ``I know we're 9-0 and we've got a good football team and I think we're on the verge of being a great football team. I'm not dejected." The Bulldogs had already clinched a playoff berth before the game and sealed Cardinal District title with the victory.
