Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill speaks to the media, including VirginiaPreps.com's Matthew Hatfield, while hosting his Youth Football Camp and Soul Runners Speed Academy at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
A fifth round draft choice by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016, Hill has gone on to become one of the NFL's most accomplished receivers playing in the league today with 598 career receptions, 8340 yards and 63 touchdown catches as he gears up for his second season with the Dolphins at the age of 29. The Georgia native has been chosen First Team All-Pro on four occasions, elected to the Pro Bowl in all seven of his seasons, plus holds multiple franchise records both as a member of the Dolphins and Chiefs.
Hill's foundation donated $5,000 to the G.I.R.L.S. Club of Hampton Roads, which is a community-based mentorship program for Elementary, Middle and High School Girls. The G.I.R.L.S. Club empowers at-risk teenage girls to succeed in every area of life, regardless of their family background, educational challenges or socio-economic status.
His camp in Virginia Beach drew in excess of 225 participants.
