Video Interview - DeMatha's Elijah Brooks

DeMatha Head Football Coach Elijah Brooks is plenty familiar with the '757' area code, having played his College Football at William & Mary and just a few years ago guided the Stags to a win over Phoebus.

On Friday night in Chesapeake, his Stags notched a 42-7 win at Oscar Smith - ranked #1 in the state of Virginia in Group 6A.

Leading 21-7 at the half, DeMatha put together a 15-play, 92-yard drive that took six minutes off the clock in the third quarter to extend their lead. The Stags, who are ranked #9 in the country by USA Today, racked up 481 yards of offense and had 298 yards rushing on the night with QB Beau English completing every one of his passes on the evening.

We caught up with Coach Brooks for a Video Interview you can watch, both at the link below and embedded at the top.
