Pro-Style Quarterbacks: Virginia has two of the very best in the
country in Ryan Burns (Stone Bridge, committed to Standford) and Christian Hackenberg (Fork Union, committed to Penn State. Don't forget Bucky Hodges (Salem) who is thought to be a Virginia Tech lean.
Running Backs: Another strong position for the Class of 2013 in the
Commonwealth, with Hermitage standout Derrick Green checking in at #6 and Taquan Mizzell (Bayside) at #8!
Strong Side Defensive Ends: Jonathan Allen from Stone Bridge has picked up offers just about as fast as he picked up sacks last fall. Might be headed back to his home state of Alabama for his college football! Wyatt Teller from Liberty (Bealeton) is another nationally ranked defensive end from Virginia!
Outside Linebackers: Hylton's E.J. Levenberry Jr., is generally considered the State's top prospect and is ranked the #3 outside backers in the country! Stanford commit Doug Randolph (Woodberry Forest) and Briar Wood's Matt Rolin are also ranked nationally!
Cornerbacks:Varina's Tim Harris among the top ten nationally at this position.
Safety: Virginia Tech commit Holland Fisher is considered one of the nation's top safeties. Fisher played for Clover Hill as a junior but has indicated he will transfer to Manchester for his senior season.
