Ultimate Sweep

Paul VI defeated DeMatha 48-35 to win the prestigious Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament. The Panthers completed the season with a championship sweep winning the WCAC championship, the VISAA D1 State championship, and the ACIT championship.

Kevin Dorsey was named the ACIT Most Valuable Player after finishing with 14 points to lead Paul VI. The Panthers ended the season with a 10-game wining streak defeating DeMatha and Bishop O Connell twice while also winning against Benedictine and nationally ranked Cape Henry.

The Panthers opened the game with a 7-0 run highlighted with a dunk from junior Joshua Reaves  to open the game. The led by seven at halftime and never looked back. Dorsey led a balanced Panther attack with 12 points. Senior Evan Taylor scored nine while Reaves added eight. Georgetown recruit Marcus Derrickson finished with seven points.
