color:black'>T.C. Williams 5-foot-9 guard Edward Jenkins, a

VirginiaPreps.com Group AAA 1st Team All-State selection, has signed with Mount

Olive College, a Division II

program in North Carolina.

Selected both the Northern Region Player of the Year and the Patriot District

Player of the Year, Jenkins averaged 17.3 points, 5 assists and 3 steals per

game.  He also shot 78% from the

free-throw line and made 59 three-pointers on a Titans team that reached the

State Tournament for a third consecutive year.

As a junior, Jenkins scored a game-high 22 points as T.C. Williams beat Bethel

70-57 to win the school's first State Championship since 1977.

style='mso-spacerun:yes'> Jenkins helped T.C. Williams to a 27-3 overall

record during his senior year and the Titans have won 72 in a row against Patriot

District foes.  T.C. Williams also has

gone 90-3 in their last 93 games versus teams from the Northern Region.

Mount Olive went 18-10 in 2008-09 and the Trojans have an impressive 142-45

record over the past eight seasons.  Currently

on Mount Olive's roster are eight players from the state of Virginia.
