Stout impressive on camp circuit

Its been a busy and productive spring/summer for Atlee's Cole Stout
The rising senior (Class of 2012) lineman has been a frequent participant on the
camp/combine circuit and he is hoping that his impressive showings will start to
payoff with increased interest from colleges and recruiters.
The 6-foot-3, 265 pound two-way lineman is also a standout track and field
athlete (All-Metro for shot-put and discuss), and excels in the classroom as
well.  Once some of the colleges from around the region realize the total
package that Stout brings to the table, offers should start rolling in!
As we mentioned above Stout has been a mainstay on the camp circuit, haven
been to Virginia, East Carolina, James Madison, Old Dominion, William & Mary,
Liberty among others.  He doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon with more
camps lined up for Delaware, Wake Forest, Towson and a return trip to James
Madison. At just about every stop he has graded out well, often finishing among
the top performers in the bench press (he did 29 'reps' at ECU), ran 4.5 shuttle
at William & Mary and 5 flat 40 at James Madison.  At Virginia he impressed
with an 8-foot-1 broad jump.  Stout took home the Defensive Line MVP award
at the University of Richmond's "Big Man Camp" last month.
Other accolades from the camp circuit include being named at the third most
powerful prospect at the Virginia National Underclassmen Combine, where he
benched 24 reps.  Combine Stouts impressive testing results  with
impressive showings in the one-on-one drills and its easy to see why many
schools are showing interest.  So far he is hearing from Cornell, Liberty,
Richmond, Virginia and Old Dominion the most.
Stout's on the gridiron resume' is impressive as well.   As a
junior he earned first team all-district honors at defensive tackle after
recording 74 tackles, 22 for loss, 14 quarterback hurries, seven sacks, four
blocked kicks and three forced fumbles for the Raiders. This following a
sophomore campaign when he notched 69 tackles, 15 for loss, 13 hurries, six
sacks, three forced fumbles, two blocked kicks and one tipped pass.
