Scotty McGee Commits

color:black'>Running back Scotty McGee of Ocean Lakes High School has committed
to James Madison University.  He chose
JMU over Rhode Island, East Carolina, Elon and Liberty among others.

color:black'>The 5'9", 165-lbs McGee led the Beach District in rushing
yards in 2003 with 1,336, ran for another 1,300 yards in 2004 and scored 31
touchdowns combined over the course of the two seasons.
style="mso-spacerun: yes">  In both seasons, he was named to the
first-team all-Beach teams.

color:black'>Scotty runs a 4.37 40-yard dash but displays impressive strength
as well as he has benched 315 lbs. 
"Scotty went from a true question mark [he weighed 115 lbs as a
freshman] into one of the finest backs in the district," said Ocean Lakes
Coach Jim Prince, "his work ethic is tremendous and his spirit is strong
and committed to being great."
