The SPARQ Rating weighs and combines a series

of tests into a single number that measures an athlete's overall athleticism in

relation to the demands of their specific sport. The SPARQ Rating allows

coaches, athletes and fans to compare players on the basis of their dynamic

athletic potential. Most importantly, athletes can use the SPARQ Rating to track

the progress of their training and stay motivated and focused while they build

and enhance their athleticism. The SPARQ Football Rating debuted in 2004, and

SPARQ has now expanded the Rating program to include specific SPARQ Ratings for

baseball, basketball, soccer, and track and field.
