Virginia Tech has offered Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith 2020 guard Cameron Thomas. Here's a quick look at him.

Thomas, like most of the most recent offers for VT, was at the Buzz Williams team camp this weekend when he picked up the good news. He previously had mostly mid-major attention so far, so picking up an offer from a school that has a long history of players from the 757 (in multiple sports) excelling is certainly going to be a boost for VT in the long run. Look for VT to be in this one as long as the staff wants to be.
