Devyn Ford, North Stafford
Topping the Commonwealth representation on the list is Ford, a running back who checks in at #10 overall. Despite a broken hand cutting short his sophomore season, he's managed to rush for 2972 yards and 39 touchdowns over the past two seasons. Ford holds nearly 30 offers with Clemson, Ohio State, Penn State and Texas among the many recruiting him.
Brandon Smith, Louisa
Coming in at #100 overall is Smith, a 6-foot-3, 218-pound hybrid defensive end/linebacker with 19 offers to date. Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Virginia Tech are just some of the schools trying to land this fast-rising talent from Louisa County.
Cam'Ron Kelly, Oscar Smith
Ranked #146 nationally, Kelly had his breakout season in 2016 for the 6A-South Region Champion Tigers, hauling in 48 passes for 753 yards and five touchdowns. On defense, he made 35 tackles to go with 13 pass breakups and eight interceptions - five in the playoffs alone. Among the more than 25 offers he's received are Auburn, Louisville, Michigan, Oregon and Stanford.
Tayvion Robinson, Cox
Rated #194 overall in his class, Robinson has played quarterback, running back, receiver, defensive back and contributed heavily on special teams in two seasons at Cox, where he's racked up 1167 yards from scrimmage and scored 11 touchdowns. Like the aforementioned Smith, Robinson is a multi-sport standout who also plays basketball. Although his offer sheet isn't as length as some others just yet, Charlotte and Florida Atlantic are two programs that have thrown their hat in the ring for his services.
Hakeem Beamon, L.C. Bird
Checking in at #208 overall is Beamon, a 6-foot-4 defensive end who already ended his recruitment by committing to North Carolina in the ACC. The Chesterfield product chose the Tar Heels over an offer from Virginia Tech when he announced his verbal in June. Playing mostly in a situational role as a sophomore, Beamon had roughly 10 sacks last year.
