Liberty Christian Reaches State Final

First baseman Josh Campo drove in four runs including a 2-run homerun, and Zach Hess threw a complete game 2-hitter to lead Liberty Christian Academy to a 6-1 win over Norfolk Academy.
The outcome was delayed three days because of a storm on Thursday. Zach Hess started the day with a 1-0 lead but allowed two singles to Ryan French and Will McDowell that tied the game at 1-1. Hess plunked the next batter he face before striking out 6 of the next 8 hitters. He sat down the final 15 batters he face.
