H.S. Sports Talk Reply on ESPN Radio 94.1 - 9-24-16 Show
High School Sports Talk Presented by VirginiaPreps.com airs each and every Saturday from 10 AM EST to Noon on ESPN Radio 94.1, hosted by Matthew Hatfield and Coach Ed Young.
The guys opened the show recapping the Friday night High School Football action around Tidewater with scores and thoughts on those results.
In the second segment, an interview was played back with Indian River Head Football Coach Glenwood Ferebee on the Braves' 21-point rally against Grassfield.
During the 11 AM hour, Lake Taylor grad Jalyn Holmes of Ohio State came on to talk about his junior season with the Buckeyes, fresh off a big win over Oklahoma in Norman. Holmes won a National Championship his freshman year with the Buckeyes and is in the defensive line rotation, part of their 'Rushmen,' package.
An interview with Indian River 4-Star prospect Devon Hunter was also played back from the Braves' wild comeback win over Grassfield. Hunter is regarded as one of the top prospects in the country and a Twitter poll question on @HSSportsTalk941 asked 'Who's the top prospect in the area?' The fellas discussed the nominees as well.
