Granby Limits Maury
Matt Eagle homered and pitched 5.2 innings to earn the win as Granby defeated Maury 5-1. Eagle did not allow an earned run while striking out three. Trey Hanchey struck out three of the five batters he faced to closed the game out.

Eagle homered to left field for a 1-0 Comets lead in the 2nd inning and added a single in the 4th inning to help Granby take a 2-0 lead. The Comets added two insurance runs in the sixth from the bottom of their lineup. Ben Lynch drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and James Greer scored from second on a single from number nine hitter Spencer Matthews.
Eagle and Matthews had multi-hit games and Bobby Starcher had an RBI single. Maury was limited to four hits.
