100 and you have not received your invite you should call camp
coordinators William Massenburg 804-304-6452 or Ray Bolton
804-943-1364 immediately. You can still attend, just contact coordinators.
The camp is scheduled for this Saturday (April 17th) at Varina High School.
Camp participants will be tested (40 yard dash, vertical jump, power ball toss,
and shuttle run) in order to obtain an official "SPARQ" score.  After
testing campers will receive one-on-one instruction from coaches and former
players, and take part in some one-on-one drills, always the highlight of any
camp/combine.
The camp is poised for a few showdowns as Tyler Clark from Grassfield, Chris Hall of Dinwiddie, Michael Nebrich of Lake Braddock face off in a battle of the
quarterbacks. Demetrius Jackson and Sam Hartman of the defending state champs
Thomas Dale look to impress along with Brandon Chiles, a speedster out of
Manchester, impressive recruits Tyrell Banks out of Amelia, and Dechavon Hayes of Varina will see the likes of Damien Carter, Parker Cherlin, Tyler Holly, Devonte
Brown, and Adrian Hart.
Players will work with Virginia greats like camp partner
James Farrior
starting middle linebacker for the Steelers, camp partner Rudi Johnson, Kendall
Langford starting defensive end for the Miami Dolphins, Matt Farrior, Wali
Rainer, and Antoine Womack plus other specially invited guess. These guys are
all current or former professional football players who have a heart to give
back to the community. They are dedicating their skills and their time to push
Virginia football.
The Rudi Johnson Foundation
is hosting their Football Mom 101 workshop at the camp. This is especially for
football moms so that they can work with NFL mothers to learn the game of
football and participate in question and answer sessions so that they can be the
best football mom they can be.
This camp is going to be filmed and will be made available to players and
coaches. VirginiaPreps will be onsite to set up player profiles and discuss
questions regarding their site. If you have film you are encouraged to bring it
so that you can have your profile maximized to its fullest potential. Players
who are not participating in the camp are welcome to attend, watch and find out
how they can get their profile on VirginiaPreps.
