Buffalo
Gap baseball coach Chad Coffey reports that he has a senior baseball
prospect 'flying under the radar'. Senior Josh Wenger is a pitcher
and infielder who was player of the year in his district as a junior. He
was also voted to the All-Region team and was a first team All-State selection
as a junior.
Wenger is a solid student as well and while he
has a lot of interest from Division III schools, Coffey believes he could play
at a higher level.
Wenger has great statistics, has he batted .588
last season with five home runs, and six double! A right-handed pitcher, Wenger
'brings it' in the mid 80's and according to Coffey has great range at
shortstop.
