Braves Win At Harbor Park

Indian River senior Robert White struckout 11 and did not allow an earned run to help the Braves to a 10-3 win over Ocean Lakes in a game played at Harbor Park; home of the AAA Norfolk Tides.

Indian River trailed early in the game despite White not allowing a hit. Chase Counts led off the top of the 1st inning for the Dolphins with a walk and he scored on a throwing error to home. White, who has committed to William & Mary, settled down and struckout five straight batters including the side in the second inning. The speed gun at Harbor Park consistently hit the 88 miles per hour on his fastball and a few times reached 90 mph. White allowed only two hits through five innings before two fielding errors at shortstop led to two more runs for the Dolphins. John Fuqua struckout the side in the top of the seventh to close out the game.
