Best of the 757 Football Camp gearing up

Preparations are really gearing up for the 2014 Best of the 757
Football Showcase as camp day (May 31st) quickly approaches. As always,
the camp is lining up as one of the premier events in the Tidewater
region with several top coaches involved in the planning and execution.
The fifth annual showcase will be sponsored this year by In Motion
Sports Performance, Grand Slam Sports and Qdoba, who will be providing
free food for the athletes.
Coaches involved in this year's event include Wayne Lance (Atlantic
Shores), Pete Gale (Great Bridge), George Massenburg (Heritage), Jeremy
Blunt (Phoebus), Greg Gibson (Western Branch) and Alonzo Coley
(Kecoughtan).
Past participants in the showcase vent have included Oscar Smith's
Andrew Brown, the 2013 National Gatorade Player of the Year, Lake
Taylor's Jalyn Holmes, a recent commitment to Ohio State
University, Virginia Tech running back J.C. Coleman from Oscar
Smith and Vincent Lowe from Grassfield who picked up an offer from Old
Dominion just a week after competing in the 2013 event.
As the official media sponsor of the event, VirginiaPreps.com will be on hand to cover the activities from
start to finish producing a number of reports for the Rivals.com network and 94.1 FM's High
Schools Sports Talk Show presented by VirginiaPreps.com will be
broadcasting live from the Norfolk Academy campus.
