Double A Preseason All-State Football team! One Region IV standout named

to the team is Christiansburg linebacker Zach Weller!

A 6-foot-1, 211-pound linebacker, Weller has

racked up tackles at an amazing clip since he broke into his team's starting

lineup as a freshman. He has amassed more than 150 tackles in each of his first

three seasons of varsity football, including 170 tackles as a junior.

Putting up big numbers is nothing new to Weller;

he collected 203 tackles as a freshman and 169 tackles as a sophomore. To put it

lightly, those numbers are staggering. "I didn't think I would get that number

this season, but I was kind of surprised when I kept making all of those tackles

and kept racking them up. It was pretty impressive."
