Landstown Head Football Coach Tommy Reamon has coached several talented athletes in a career of over 30 years on the sidelines. NFL quarterbacks Michael Vick and Aaron Brooks are two that quickly leap to mind.
Reamon, who played in the pros himself with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs after a decorated collegiate career at Missouri in the 1970's, has his current Eagles team he's coaching at 2-0 this season following a hard-fought 7-6 victory at Beach District rival Princess Anne.
For three quarters, the Eagles trailed by a count of 6-0. However, Landstown took the lead on Brent Stukes' touchdown pass to Jalen Jennings, followed by Corey Deese's successful extra point moments into the fourth period.
With starting running back Victor Jones out due to a thigh injury, the Eagles relied on Stukes (23Car. 86Yds.) to move the offense and an aggressive defense that didn't bend much in limiting Princess Anne to just 113 total yards on 35 plays from scrimmage.
We caught up with Coach Reamon after the win to get his thoughts on the squad in a Video Interview you can watch, both embedded above and at the link below...
