Kyle Bilodeau has doubled the number of scholarship offers since the end of his junior season at Woodberry Forest. The 6-foot-5 tight end has proven his ability to excel in any offense with his athleticism, great hands, and blocking ability.

Bilodeau received his 1st offer from North Carolina State last year and now he has over a half dozen offers.

"I have picked up Purdue, Pitt, Temple and others since football season ended," he said. 'I also have interest from several other D1 schools."

Bilodeau attended the Rivals 3-Stripe in Charlotte and was arguably one of the top talents there.

"I felt I made plays consistently in the one-on-ones," Bilodeau said. "I made sharp cuts, fast in and out of cuts, caught the ball well away from my body, and I was physical with strong linebackers. I took away that I’m plenty good enough to succeed against anybody I want to."

As a sophomore, Bilodeau caught 28 passes but that total dropped to 17 last season due to a change in the offense. He expects to make a bigger impact in the passing game as a senior.

"We are still in a transition (with the offense)," Bilodeau said. "We had the same offensive coordinator we had the past few years but now he left and now our head coach is taking over. So right now we’re learning new terminology, concepts and stuff but the new offense is better suited for what I like to do."

While North Carolina State appears to be at the top of the list, Bilodeau says he still has some work to do and more visits to come. However a decision could be right around the corner.

"I’m planning on committing over the summer late June early July probably. I'm going to go to some more camps then make decisions afterward."
