Virginia Hoops Class of 2013 Something Special

It was known a few years back that the 2013
class could be special. That initial thought from many analysts and experts

hasn't changed at all. Some have even gone as far as to say that 2013 has the
potential to be one of Virginia's best classes ever, at least in the last 15-20
years, especially in the Tidewater area, which has long been known as a hotbed
for recruiting.
The top three players on the board: Phoebus forward Troy Williams,
Hampton guard Anthony Barber (aka "Big Cat") and Kecoughtan forward Rodney Bullock (aka "Rajay"), all hold high-major offers and are ranked in the Top
100 in the nation by Rivals.com. Amazingly, all three play in the same district,
the Peninsula in the heart of the area known as the "757".
Following those headliners is another Eastern Region player in Kellam 6-foot-5
swingman Ramone Snowden as well as some players that may be looking at
high-major offers before it's all said and done in St. Christopher's forward Rodney Williams, Paul VI wing Stanford Robinson and Bishop O'Connell
guard William Ferguson.
