The commitments keep coming for Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech's recruiting class for 2007
started slowly and quietly.  Tech's first commitment came from a

relatively, at the time, unknown prospect, Quille Odom back in May -
and has since added 11 more commitments with several more anticipated this
week.
The commitment momentum really started
following Tech's one day on-campus camp, as the Hokies have garnered verbal
pledges from numerous in-state and out-of-state prospects over the last several
weeks, with the recent highlight of the State's number one ranked prospect,
Tyrod Taylor, giving the Hokies the nod last Friday.
This week the Hokies recruiting 'roll' looks to
continue with decisions coming from Greg Nosal and Davon Morgan, just
to name two.  Nosal is set to announce his selection Tuesday afternoon and
all signs point to Virginia Tech landing the 6-foot-7 lineman from Kellam High
School.
Morgan has set his press conference for
Wednesday afternoon, when he will announce his final choice from among three
finalists, Virginia Tech, Tennessee and Michigan.
The quarterback / defensive back prospect was one of three Varina prospects that
attended the aforementioned Tech camp, the others being Jamar Jackson
and Bud Tribbey, who are both sporting offers from Virginia Tech.
Given the Hokies track record of late, another
commitment or two by the weekend would not be surprising!
