South County's Spalding Names Top 5

Matthew Hatfield has been with VirginiaPreps.com since 2004, officially taking over as Publisher in 2016. Hatfield hosts 757 Saturday Sports Talk every Saturday, 10 AM to Noon, on ESPN Radio 94.1.

South County (Lorton, VA) three-star wide receiver Dillon Spalding has released his Top 5.

Making the cut among his finalists are East Carolina, Temple, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

Spalding finished with 67 catches for 1069 yards and 14 touchdowns on his way to First Team All-State honors in 2016. That came following a sophomore campaign in which he hauled in 68 passes for 1232 yards and 13 scores.
