No-Hitter For Douglas Freeman Duo

Camden Lazar and Nick Ackies combined to throw a no-hitter as Douglas Freeman defeated Atlee 3-0. Lazar struckout six batters before leaving after throwing 99 pitches. Ackies struckout 2 of the 3 batters he faced to get the save.

Douglas Freeman scored their three runs in the 2nd, 5th, and 7th innings. Brett Reid grounded out to second scoring Liam Simpson. In the 5th inning, Grey Pappas singled scored Luis Barrios who walked to open the inning. The Rebels final run was with two outs in the top off the seventh. Reid led off with a single and scored on a single from Theo Roman.

Atlee had a baserunner on in every inning except the 5th and 6th innings. They had runners on 1st & 3rd with one out in the 1st inning and Adam Jewel walked, stole 2nd and reached 3rd base with two outs in the 4th but they could not get a run to cross the plate.
