"Verdana","sans-serif"'>The Old Dominion Monarchs out of Norfolk, VA enjoyed
the nation's biggest turnaround in College Basketball during 2013-14 as they
won 18 games following a tumultuous 5-25 season the year before.
style=> Orchestrating the turnaround was new Head
Coach Jeff Jones, a man familiar
with success at his previous stops.

"Verdana","sans-serif"'>Hired by ODU in April of 2013, Jones guided American
University to four 20-win seasons which included two trips to the NCAA
Tournament. Prior to coaching there, he
was the Head Coach at the University of Virginia from 1990-98, leading the
Cavaliers to the Sweet in '93 and the Elite Eight in '95.

"Verdana","sans-serif"'>In 22 years as a Head Coach at the college level, Jones
has gone 374-304 with 10 postseason appearances.
style=> His Monarchs were able to finish sixth in
their first season in Conference USA while reaching the semifinals of the
College Basketball Invitational Tournament.

"Verdana","sans-serif"'>ODU has a host of returnees along with some newcomers
sprinkled in for next season as they look to continue to improve under Jones.
style=> What's in store for the Monarchs moving
forward?

"Verdana","sans-serif"'>Jones recently caught up with us for a One-on-One
Interview at ODU's Team Camp to discuss last season's debut with the Monarchs,
recruiting, and the challenges that await him and his team for the 2014-15
campaign. Hear that interview that aired
on High School Sports Talk Presented by VirginiaPreps.com on ESPN Radio 94.1 at
