Final Private School school rankings for 2012.

Congrats to the 2012 State Champions

D1 Liberty Christian Academy
D2 Blue Ridge
D3 Virginia Episcopal

Buzz: Won the D1 State Championship for the second straight year.
2Fork Union Military Academy10-3
Buzz: Lost to Liberty Christian in the D1 State Championship game. Final game for Legendary coach Micky Sullivan
3Woodberry Forest School7-3.
Buzz: Easily defeated Episcopal in "The Game" 44-14. Tigers return a solid group for next year including Notre Dame recruit Greer Martini.
4Blue Ridge8-3
Buzz: Won their 2nd Private School State championship defeating Nansemond-Suffolk and getting revenge for their loss to the saints in 2009.
5Benedictine School7-4
Buzz: Cadets had the lead against Fork Union however they ended the season with their third straight loss. Freshman Scott Bracey made a big impact this year.
6The Collegiate School6-4
Buzz: Ended season with loss at #1 Liberty Christian. Wilton Speight will be back next year.
7Virginia Episcopal9-2
Buzz: Won their 1st ever State championship defeating Fredericksburg Christian 48-20. Bishops won only one game last year. Returns a good group including Rb Ronnie Springfield.
8Nansemond Suffolk Academy8-4
Buzz: Lost to Blue Ridge in the D2 State championship game. Rb David Gough returns for his junior year.
9North Cross School6-4
Buzz: May be the best team not to make the playoffs. Defending champs ended the season with a blowout win over Norfolk Christian.
10Trinity Episcopal7-4
Buzz: Second loss in three weeks to Nansemond Suffolk ends the best season for Trinity Episcopal since they started back playing football. Coach Sam Mickens seems to have the Titans back on track.
11Christchurch School6-4
Buzz: Seahorses lost the rematch with Blue Ridge in the playoffs which ended their season. Safety Brendan Cole is an All-State performer.
12Blessed Sacrament Huguenot8-4
Buzz: Won their fourth straight State championship defeating Broadwater on the road.
