The head of officials and the principals at Broad Run and Potomac Falls made, in my opinion, the right decision today and reinstated TJ Peeler for Broad Run's first playoff game.
The article from WAMU in DC gets the details of the story wrong. He was penalized the first time for a chest bump with a coach near the BR sideline after another teammate scored a TD. He was penalized a second time for turning around, showing the ball, and signaling #1 inside the ten yard line on his only carry of the night, a 63-yard TD run.
Scroll down to see the story and hear the audio stream of the report. It's under "Virginia Regional News."
After further review, the Virginia High School League (VHSL) has re-instated Broad Run High School senior running back Eric "T.J." Peeler.
Peeler was ejected from an Oct. 30 game against Potomac Falls after being flagged for two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. After review, it was determined by the commissioner of the Northern Virginia Football Officials Association that the first penalty should not have been charged.
As a result, Peeler should not have been ejected after the second one.

Good...that was justice as not chest-bump with a coach should EVER have been flagged...the second one: yea..he was guilty there of showboating.
