Galax is on quite a roll. Correct me if I am wrong, but haven't they also won back-to-back D-1 state basketball titles and also finished runner-up in football this past December? If that is the case, that is the best performance I can remember for one school in the same year in quite some time, maybe ever. For the sake of the rest of us, please tell us that a LOT of seniors wrapped up their careers today!

Yes, this senior class is gone, they have done WONDERS for Galax. As far as baseball goes, Galax peaked at the right time. Offense has been their all year but OUTSTANDING defense and pitching carried the Tide to the ship.

Against Rappohanack Galax had three web gems to save the game and commited no errors in 11 innings. Today Sr Austin pack came in and shut the door after throwing 100 pitches yesterday, throwing 83-85 consistently and hitting his spots. Pitching has been strong at the right time, cutting down on walks and hitting spots. Great roll for the Tide, couldnt have happened to a greater group of kids and coaching staff.
