Junior DeAnde Barber scored 19 points in the second quarter on his way to a game high 25 points as the Bishop Sullivan Crusaders cruised to an easy 92-53 win over Hampton Christian.
Barber drained five treys as part of a 36-point second quarter run that gave the Crusaders a 55-20 lead at halftime. Bishop Sullivan made 13 treys as a team.
The Crusaders passed the ball around to the tune of 23 assists on their 35 made field goals. Barber had five assists and six rebounds while Phil Owens chipped in 12 points and 10 assists. Daren Belargo added 14 points and Thomas East scored all 11 of his points in the first quarter.
Hampton Christian was led by Steven Iverson who finished with 19 points off the bench including three from 3-point range. Evan Dougood added 10 points and buried two 3-pointers. The two teams combined to make 19 shots from behind the arc.
