Trinity Episcopal stayed sharp during the Christmas break by facing a tough schedule of public school teams including Henrico, Cosby, and Potomac. The Titans resumed their Private school slate while improving to 10-2 with a 61-36 win over Norfolk Academy.

Senior Jaylen Hinton scored 12 points in the second quarter and was the catalysis to a Titans full-court pressure defense that ed to 17 first half turnovers.

"We played great defense," Trinity Episcopal head coach Richard Hamlin said. "We were able to contest shots, pressure the ball, and rebound."

Trinity Episcopal led 36-12 at halftime and left their foot on the pedal throughout the third quarter when they increased the lead to 53-20.

Junior Nathan Swift led three Titans in double-figures with 15 points on 7 of 7 shooting from the field while adding four rebounds. Super sophomore Josh Brown drained 9 of 11 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points before leaving with an injury.

Jack Markey led Norfolk Academy with 14 points including three treys.
