The Eagles needed extra innings to beat Green Run 8-4 in their first game after Spring break. Freshman Jake Sinneger drove in four runs and went 3-5 from the plate Nick Faison pitched 3 1/3 innings allowing two earned runs to get the win.
Landstown scored four runs in the top of the ninth. The Eagles scored on unearned run and Alex Blankenship hit a long sacrafice fly to plate a second run. Will Hinton and Sinniger added RBI singles for an 8-4 lead.
Blankenship started and went 5 2/3 innings allowing only one earned run.
Robert Bryson started for Green Run and pitched well allowing three runs thru six innings while striking out nine. Andrew Stone took the loss pitching the final three innings.
Green Run tied the game in the bottom of the seventh with two runs. Andrew Stone doubled and Christian Hartley singled to bring in a run. Austin Ange then hit a grounder to third which scored Hartley from third base.
