The Region B track meet is scheduled for Thursday May 26 at Monticello High school near Charlottesville. The Dogwood District should be well represented. Appomattox, Nelson, Dan River and Altavista have strong teams. There were some fine performances at the District meet last Wednesday. Gretna's Devontae Pannell won the district in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.6. Gretna's 4x100 relay team were also district champions.
