On Friday, June 29th, the Old Dominion Monarchs held their first one-day camp of the summer and the turnout at the event was shocking as nearly 250 prospects from throughout?Virginia and surrounding states congregated at S.B. Ballard Stadium on the Norfolk campus.

Near the conclusion of the event, VirginiaPreps.com football editor Rod Johnson sat down with Old Dominion head coach Bobby Wilder to discuss the day's activities and the direction of the Monarchs program as they play their last season in the Colonial Athletic Association (and their last at the FCS level) before making the leap to Conference USA and the FBS level of college football in 2013.
