Pac-Tending Plus - Men's Hoops
The Pac-10 race sharpened slightly as both UCLA and WSU remained at the top of the league with the Bruins holding a half-game lead over the Cougars while USC, Oregon and Arizona jockey for third-place positioning and Stanford and Washington try to maintain NCAA street cred. Other Stuff - Says Big Ten still plays physical because the officials let them play that way. He's not sure if any teams have been 0-18 in conference play [there haven't been] but he remembers Kelvin Sampson had one team [Sampson's 1989-90 squad that went 1-17] that didn't win very many games.
