Stanford has had a lot of success in the Commonwealth of Virginia and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region in recent recruiting cycles.

Last year, the Cardinal received a commitment from Briar Woods' Alex Carter, one of Virginia's top players. In the class of 2013, Stanford has commitments from both Stone Bridge quarterback Ryan Burns and Woodberry Forest linebacker Doug Randolph.
