MORGANTOWN An exhausted Da'Sean Butler quietly answered questions from the media horde following one of the most exciting finishes at the WVU Coliseum.

Butler's jump shot with 2.3 seconds left in the game not only gave the Mountaineers a 63-62 Big East win over Marquette but kept No. 6 West Virginia's unbeaten streak alive at 11 straight. The victory puts WVU within reach of one of the school's best teams--the 1957-58 squad , led by the legendary Jerry West, which posted a 14-0 mark before losing on the road at Duke.
